Welcome to our watercolor class in Fort Collins, where we invite you to embark on a creative journey into the enchanting world of Colorado's clouds and skyscapes. In this classroom setting, you will learn the delicate art of watercolor painting, capturing the ethereal beauty and ever-changing moods of Colorado's expansive skies. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this course offers a wonderful opportunity to refine your watercolor skills while delving into the world of clouds and skyscapes.
Practice your watercolor techniques with this seasonal class that will challenge you to paint 3-4 small sky studies while seeing demonstrations by our Instructor. Learn about washes and harmonizing your colors along with strategies for painting skyscapes. Discover new brush techniques to achieve the look and feel of clouds along with other textures in the landscapes. Each painting starts with a pencil sketch to help you learn composition and specifically how to use contrast to create a sense of depth and effectively utilize cool and warm colors.
Immerse yourself in the joy and relaxation of painting skies as you absorb the grandeur of Colorado's cloud scenes with the supportive atmosphere of our class and camaraderie of fellow artists as we learn to paint the Clouds of Colorado in Watercolors!

Age: 15+ All skill and creative levels welcome (younger artists are welcome with accompanying adult)
